Physician (MD) - Obstetricians and Gynecologists

Location: Seattle, WA

Pay: $285,120 - $380,160 annually

Shift: 24Hour 6 to 8 shifts per month, each shift is 24 hours


Overview:


We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Obstetricians and Gynecologists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.


Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.


Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:


  • Provide comprehensive OB/GYN hospitalist care in two major facilities with high delivery volumes
  • Support Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) and OB providers with labor and deliveries, surgical assists, and obstetric emergencies
  • Manage obstetric triage and emergency situations, including ectopic pregnancies and torsions
  • Perform routine GYN procedures, including diagnostic laparoscopy, supporting the Emergency Department
  • Participate in academic activities, teaching OB fellows and residents from OB and family medicine programs
  • Collaborate with a respected maternal-fetal medicine team in a collegial and supportive environment
  • Work a flexible schedule of 6-8 24-hour shifts per month
  • Maintain valid state medical license and DEA registration
  • Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in OB/GYN
  • Maintain clean malpractice and license history
  • Reside within the immediate local area

Qualifications:

  • Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Obstetricians and Gynecologists experience preferred
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
