Location: Salinas, CA

Pay: $372,300 - $372,300 annually

Shift: 24Hour 2190 hours annually (averages 7-8 24-hour shifts/month). 24-hour in-house OB-GYN hospitalist

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Obstetricians and Gynecologists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:

• Providing 24-hour in-house OB-GYN hospitalist coverage
• Managing labor and delivery for low-volume OBs in the community
• Handling obstetrical triage and emergency situations
• Performing patient evaluations and management
• Assisting in obstetrical surgeries
• Participating in fetal monitoring and coordination with MFM specialists
• Supporting Level III NICU operations in partnership with pediatric specialists
• Collaborating with pediatric subspecialists and MFM support
• Ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care for all obstetric patients
• Working weekends as part of 24-hour rotating schedule

Qualifications:

• Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Obstetricians and Gynecologists experience preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
