Physician (MD) - Psychiatrists

Shift: Days Days Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 PM + call rotation TBD
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Psychiatrists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.
Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.
Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:
- Provide outpatient child and adolescent psychiatry services Monday through Friday with call rotation schedule to be determined
- Deliver comprehensive psychiatric care including psychological, psychiatric, and forensic services ranging from individual psychotherapy to medication management
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Focus on high-quality patient care utilizing available supportive services
- Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Obtain and maintain Iowa state medical license
- Maintain clean malpractice history and provide current NPDB report
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
- Comply with all credentialing and compliance requirements
- Provide in-person patient care services (telemedicine not available for this position)
- Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Qualifications:
- Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Psychiatrists experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
