Shift: Days Days Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 PM + call rotation TBD

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Psychiatrists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:

• Provide outpatient child and adolescent psychiatry services Monday through Friday with call rotation schedule to be determined
• Deliver comprehensive psychiatric care including psychological, psychiatric, and forensic services ranging from individual psychotherapy to medication management
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Focus on high-quality patient care utilizing available supportive services
• Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
• Obtain and maintain Iowa state medical license
• Maintain clean malpractice history and provide current NPDB report
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
• Comply with all credentialing and compliance requirements
• Provide in-person patient care services (telemedicine not available for this position)
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery

Qualifications:

• Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Psychiatrists experience preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
