Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in various laboratory techniques and a strong background in clinical laboratory experience. As a Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing diseases through the examination of histopathology, ensuring adherence to GLP and FDA regulations. Your expertise in histology, molecular biology, and data collection will be essential for conducting thorough analyses and contributing to scientific research.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic examinations of tissue samples to identify diseases.
- Utilize laboratory techniques including histology and microbiology to analyze specimens.
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and FDA regulations in all laboratory procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory findings using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to discuss diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Train and mentor junior staff on laboratory procedures and techniques.
- Stay updated with advancements in pathology and related fields.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with board certification in pathology.
- Proven experience in a clinical laboratory setting, demonstrating proficiency in laboratory procedures.
- Strong understanding of GLP, CGMP, FDA regulations, and quality control processes.
- Familiarity with molecular biology techniques and their applications in pathology.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
- Prior experience in scientific research is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
