Modern Sports Medicine | Florida Expansion

Modern Sports Medicine is expanding into Naples, Florida and is seeking a contract Sports Medicine Physician to join our multidisciplinary team. This is a part-time, contract-based role (initially 2 days per month) with clear opportunities to grow clinic days and expand your presence as the Florida market develops.

This position is ideal for a physician with strong musculoskeletal expertise who enjoys procedural work, regenerative medicine, and collaborative care with physical therapists.

About the Role

You will provide comprehensive musculoskeletal evaluations and non-surgical sports medicine care, with a focus on orthobiologics and regenerative treatments, while coordinating closely with our physical therapy teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive musculoskeletal evaluations and workups
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic orthopedic and sports-related conditions
• Perform orthobiologic procedures, including:
• Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
• Adipose-derived regenerative therapies
• Utilize diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound (preferred)
• Prescribe, fit, and manage Durable Medical Equipment (DME) as appropriate
• Coordinate treatment plans with physical therapists to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, and recovery pathways
• Support growth and development of Modern Sports Medicine’s Florida clinics

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Sports Medicine (Primary Care Sports Medicine preferred)
• Strong background in musculoskeletal medicine
• Demonstrated experience with orthobiologics (PRP, adipose-based therapies)
• DME experience required
• Diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred (or willingness to train)
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Interest in growing a long-term role as clinic volume expands

Compensation

• $200–$300+ per hour, commensurate with experience and procedural volume
• Contract position, initially 2 days per month
• Opportunity to increase clinical days as the practice grows
