Physics Teacher (IGCSE)

Job Purpose
Deliver high-quality instruction in the discipline of Physics. The teacher will create an engaging, inquiry-based learning environment that encourages student curiosity, critical thinking, and the application of scientific principles through experiments, research, and real-world problem-solving.

Main Duties

• Teach Physics subject based on the approved curriculum and educational standards.
• Prepare and deliver engaging lessons that promote inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and scientific exploration.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
• Encourage students to ask questions, develop hypotheses, conduct experiments, and analyze data, promoting a hands-on approach to learning.
• Organize and facilitate laboratory experiments, field trips, and practical demonstrations that allow students to apply scientific principles in real-world contexts.
• Foster a classroom environment that inspires curiosity and develops students' investigative and problem-solving skills.
• Develop and administer formative and summative assessments to evaluate student understanding and proficiency in Physics.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback on assignments, experiments, and assessments, helping students improve and master scientific concepts.
• Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies based on assessment data to meet individual learning needs.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners, including those who require additional support and those who seek advanced challenges.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages all students to engage with scientific content at their level.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Science Education - Physics or a related field.
• Teaching certification or relevant qualifications in science education.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Physics.
• Experience in using educational technology and multimedia tools for teaching.
• Strong organizational skills for planning lessons and managing classroom activities.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates students

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED20,000.00 per month
