Responsibilities

• Develop customized lesson plans that align with each student’s skill level, goals, and interests, incorporating curriculum development best practices.
• Deliver engaging piano and vocal lessons to students of diverse ages, including early childhood education and adult learners.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a positive, respectful, and motivating atmosphere for all students.
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve technique, musicality, and performance skills.
• Incorporate various teaching methods such as tutoring, classroom management techniques, and creative activities like theater or dancing to enhance learning experiences.
• Prepare students for performances or assessments by guiding practice routines and stage presence.
• Collaborate with parents or guardians when working with children or preschool students to support their development and progress.

Requirements

• Proven experience in teaching piano and vocals with a strong background in lesson planning and curriculum development.
• Demonstrated ability to work with children, preschoolers, and adult learners across different skill levels.
• Knowledge of classroom management strategies to create an organized and encouraging learning environment.
• Experience in working with students who have special education needs or require behavior management techniques.
• Familiarity with childhood development principles, early childhood education, and preschool experience is preferred.
• Skills in photography, sewing, culinary arts, ballet, dancing, or theater are considered nice-to-have additions that can enrich your teaching approach.
