Duties
- Develop comprehensive piano curriculum plans tailored to individual student needs, skill levels, and musical interests
- Deliver engaging, energetic piano lessons that motivate students to improve technique, sight-reading, and musical expression
- Incorporate basic voice training (optional) to support musicality, pitch recognition, and performance skills
- Provide personalized tutoring sessions to address specific challenges and goals of each student
- Integrate music theory, ear training, and performance techniques into lessons
- Incorporate creative teaching methods such as movement, rhythm exercises, and elements of theater arts to enhance learning
- Prepare students for recitals, performances, and examinations
- Maintain detailed google classroom records of lesson progress, attendance, and student achievements
- Foster a supportive environment for learners of all ages, including early childhood and beginner students
Experience
- Proven experience teaching piano to students of varying ages and skill levels
- Experience working with beginners, intermediate students, and children with diverse learning styles
- Familiarity with early childhood education or beginner-level instruction is a plus
- Basic knowledge of voice instruction is beneficial but not required
- Ability to create an engaging, structured, and encouraging learning environment
- Strong communication skills with students and parents
- Prior experience in one-on-one instruction, demonstrating patience, adaptability, and motivational coaching
