Piano Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Piano Teacher to join our music education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a genuine desire to inspire students of all ages through the art of piano playing. This role involves teaching students in a supportive and engaging environment, fostering their love for music while developing their skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and skill levels.
• Provide instruction on piano techniques, music theory, and performance skills.
• Create a positive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a respectful and focused environment for all students.
• Engage with students' families to discuss progress and address any concerns or questions regarding their education.
• Organize recitals or performances to showcase student achievements and build confidence in their abilities.

Experience

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching music, particularly piano, is preferred.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques to maintain an effective learning environment.
• Experience working with diverse groups of students, including adults and children of varying skill levels.
• Knowledge of lesson planning strategies that cater to different learning styles and needs.
• Background in special education or childcare is a plus, enhancing the ability to connect with all students effectively.
• Additional skills in photography can be beneficial for documenting student performances or events.
