We’re opening a brand-new, 15-court indoor pickleball facility in Lakeville and hiring a Facility Manager / League Director to help build it from the ground up. You’ll be the day-to-day leader of the facility—the person players know by name and rely on to keep things organized, fun, and running smoothly.

Role: Facility Manager / League Director
Company: Pickle in the Middle
Compensation: $25/hour
Status: Full-time (~40 hours/week), in-person
Facility: 15 indoor courts, welcome desk, pro shop, and party room
Start Date: Last week of November 2025

WHO WE ARE

Pickle in the Middle is a growing indoor pickleball community open to all levels, from brand-new players to competitive league regulars. We offer 24/7 indoor pickleball, giving players a reliable, year-round place to play and connect.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Help launch the facility: Set up courts, furniture, welcome desk, pro shop, and party room; organize supplies; support opening events and marketing.
  • Run daily operations: Oversee the welcome desk, check-ins, and basic point-of-sale; keep courts, lobby, bathrooms, and party room clean, safe, and welcoming; handle player questions and small issues on the spot.
  • Manage CourtReserve & scheduling: Keep courts, open plays, leagues, lessons, and events accurately set up in CourtReserve; prevent conflicts; keep details current.
  • Lead leagues: Help design league offerings, set them up in CourtReserve, communicate with players, monitor attendance and feedback, and build leagues people love coming back to.
  • Build community: Partner with coaches, support events and tournaments, send clear player communications, and help create a friendly, connected atmosphere.

You’ll work closely with our Director, who sets strategy and major decisions and will often be on-site—especially early on. You’ll have support, but the day-to-day success of the facility is yours to own.

You Might Be a Great Fit If You…

  • Are a self-starter who takes ownership and notices what needs to be done
  • Enjoy structure and support from a Director but don’t need constant direction
  • Are detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
  • Are tech-comfortable and willing to learn CourtReserve
  • Have strong customer service and communication skills
  • Can handle a busy, people-filled environment
  • Love pickleball (or are excited to dive in quickly)

Experience in sports facilities, hospitality, leagues/programs, events, or customer-facing roles is a plus, but not required.
