Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Pilates Reformer Instructor to lead both group and private sessions with a strong emphasis on technique, alignment, and client connection. The ideal candidate is passionate about movement, detail-oriented, and able to deliver a premium, personalized experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Reformer Pilates group classes (up to 5–7 clients)

- Conduct private 1:1 sessions tailored to individual goals

- Provide hands-on corrections and clear cueing to ensure proper form

- Design structured, progressive class flows for all levels

- Maintain a safe, clean, and serene studio environment

- Build strong client relationships and encourage retention

- Collaborate with management on class scheduling and programming

- Support occasional wellness events or workshops

Requirements

Education & Certification:

- Certified Pilates Instructor (minimum Reformer certification required)

- Certification from recognized institutions such as STOTT Pilates, BASI Pilates, or Balanced Body preferred

- Additional certifications (Mat, Cadillac, Chair) are a strong advantage

- CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Experience

- Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching Reformer Pilates

- Experience in boutique studios or premium fitness environments preferred

- Comfortable teaching all levels (beginner to advanced)

Skills & Qualities

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, alignment, and injury prevention

- Excellent verbal cueing and hands-on correction skills

- Calm, elegant presence aligned with a wellness/luxury environment

- Ability to create a flow that feels both effective and intentional

- Client-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Professional, punctual, and detail-oriented

- Passion for wellness, movement, and continuous learning
