GENERAL DESCRIPTION – PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The Pipe Fitter will be responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, and welding piping systems used in hydraulic applications. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Essential Functions:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine piping layouts.
- Fabricate piping from blueprints and coordinate tig welding operations.
- Install piping for hydraulic machines.
- Ensures quality procedures are met per engineering specifications.
- Has experience in MTE tig welding.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in an industrial or commercial setting.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
- Knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation methods.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience:

TIG welding: 2 years (Required)

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Welding certification
- Experience with high-pressure or specialty piping systems.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and procedures.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent or GED required
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience is preferred
