Join our dynamic construction team as a Pipe Fitter Helper / Concrete Helper and be a vital part of building infrastructure that lasts! In this energetic role, you will assist skilled pipe fitters and concrete workers in installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems pvc piping, HDPE, bolt-up Carbon and SS piping, rigging, etc. – no welding or pipefitting and concrete structures across diverse construction sites. This position offers hands-on experience, opportunities to learn essential trade skills, and the chance to grow within a thriving industry. Responsibilities

• Support pipe fitters with tasks such as pipe threading, assembly, and installation according to schematics and blueprints
• Assist with concrete work including mixing, pouring, finishing, and setting forms for foundations or structures
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, grind, weld (including MIG, FCAW, TIG), and solder pipes or concrete components
• Help with rigging and positioning materials or equipment on construction sites to facilitate smooth workflow
• Read basic schematics and blueprints to understand project specifications and ensure accurate installation
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and adhering to safety protocols
• Support welding activities by preparing materials and assisting with setup under supervision

Qualifications

• Prior construction site experience or related training preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is key!
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and basic math for measurements and calculations
• Knowledge of pipe threading, soldering, tube bending, and welding techniques such as MIG, FCAW, TIG is highly desirable
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately for proper assembly and installation
• Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, HVAC systems, pipeline work, or manufacturing environments is a plus
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions carefully in a fast-paced setting
• Commitment to safety practices on-site including rigging procedures and use of personal protective equipment
