Pipe Layer - Water, Sewer, Strom

Responsibilities:

• Installing and assembling underground pipe systems for water, sewer, and drains.
• Seal joints
• Safely operate hand tools i.e. pipe lasers and other small equipment.
• Inspect places to ensure pipes are properly connected and aligned properly.
• Must be able to set up laser and shoot grades.

Qualifications:

• Experience laying pipe systems.
• Experience working in a team environment
• Able to lift and move over 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, bending, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing etc.
• Check slopes utilizing lasers, grade rods, and transit levels to verify the pipe is installed with the correct slope for water flow.
• Cut pipes to the required lengths using saws or other tools.
• Seal joints.

Environment:

• Work is performed outside, sometimes wet, environments.
• Employee must be subject to changes in weather.
• Minor heights.
• Non-hazardous chemicals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
