Role Overview:
Orbit International Survey Services is seeking a skilled Pipeline Designer with 5–10 years of experience in pipeline design for onshore/offshore projects. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, PDMS) and knowledge of pipeline codes (ASME, API, ISO) are required. Experience in oil & gas EPC projects and pipeline routing software will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare pipeline layouts, route plans, and alignment sheets based on engineering input and survey data.
- Develop 2D and 3D models of pipeline systems using CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, PDMS, or equivalent

Create and check drawings such as plan & profile, P&IDs, isometrics, and construction drawings.

Ensure designs comply with industry standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.) and project specifications.

Prepare material take-offs (MTO) for pipeline components (pipes, fittings, valves, supports, etc.

Diploma / Associate Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Drafting discipline.
- Minimum 5–10 years experience in pipeline design (onshore/offshore preferred).

Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, SmartPlant, PDMS, or equivalent).

Knowledge of pipeline codes and standards (ASME B31.4, B31.8, API, ISO, etc.).

Familiarity with topographic maps, survey data, and GIS systems.
Preferred Candidate:

Experience with oil & gas EPC projects (pipeline, flowlines, gathering systems, cross-country pipelines).
- Familiarity with stress analysis and pipeline routing software.

Knowledge of permitting requirements, ROW (Right of Way), and regulatory compliance.
