Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pipeline Helper to join our dynamic construction and manufacturing team. In this role, you will support pipeline installation, fabrication, and maintenance projects by assisting skilled tradespeople with various tasks. Duties
- Assist with the assembly, installation, and maintenance of pipelines according to schematics and blueprints
- Support welding operations including MIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG, and <LOCATION> welding techniques under supervision
- Prepare materials and tools required for pipe fitting, threading, soldering, and bending tasks
- Operate hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading equipment safely and efficiently
- Aid in rigging, lifting, and positioning pipes or equipment on construction sites or manufacturing facilities
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and ASME codes & standards to ensure compliance
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents during construction or manufacturing activities
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, and <LOCATION> welding techniques
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for pipeline projects
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and tube bending equipment
- Ability to perform pipe threading, soldering, and assembly tasks accurately
- Familiarity with rigging practices for lifting heavy pipes or equipment safely
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and assembly
- Understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing principles, and maintenance procedures related to pipelines
- Experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments adhering to safety standards
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to pipeline fabrication and installation
- Strong communication skills for teamwork and following detailed instructions

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
