Pipeline Internship: Editor/Shooter

Team Bubbly is seeking an ambitious and versatile Editor / Camera Operator to join our team through our Paid Pipeline Internship Program, a flexible opportunity designed for emerging talent looking to gain real-world experience and potentially grow into a part-time role with the company.

We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable behind a camera and behind an edit timeline. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in video production, enjoys working across a variety of content formats, and is eager to learn from a team of experienced producers, directors, cinematographers, and editors.

This role is ideal for a current student, recent graduate, or early-career professional with 1–3 years of experience looking to build their portfolio across commercial, branded, documentary, social-first, and experiential content.

Our projects range from social-first campaigns and luxury brand events to corporate interviews, branded films, documentary storytelling, and commercial productions for clients including global brands, nonprofits, agencies, and cultural organizations. One week, you may be helping capture a fashion event in Manhattan; the next, you could be supporting a documentary interview or cutting social content for a national campaign. We're looking for someone who enjoys variety and is excited by the opportunity to wear multiple hats.

Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form and long-form video content for web, social, and internal communications
  • Assist with color correction, audio cleanup, and basic motion graphics
  • Support camera crews on location and in studio environments
  • Capture event, interview, and behind-the-scenes footage as needed
  • Manage media organization, backups, and project assets
  • Prepare files for delivery across multiple platforms and formats
  • Assist producers and directors with research, shoot preparation, and production/production office logistics
  • Contribute creative ideas during development, production, and post-production
  • Assist lead editor for larger projects

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in video production, editing, or related fields (internships and freelance experience considered)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Working knowledge of After Effects
  • Experience operating professional cameras and production equipment
  • Understanding of framing, lighting, and audio fundamentals
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Positive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn
  • Comfortable working across a wide range of content types, from experiential events and social campaigns to interviews, documentaries, and commercial productions

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Sony camera systems (FX3, A7SIII, FX6, etc.)
  • Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve
  • Experience editing social-first content
  • Photography experience
  • Basic animation or motion design skills
  • Experience working on both commercial productions and live events
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for shoots

Schedule & Opportunity

  • Flexible schedule (typically 8–24 hours per week)
  • Start date flexible
  • Work alongside our team in our NYC office and on location throughout the New York area
  • Paid internship
  • Opportunity to extend into a part-time role based on performance and company needs

How to Apply

Please submit:

  • Resume
  • Portfolio website (if applicable)
  • Editing reel (2 minutes or less)
  • One piece of work you're most proud of editing
  • One piece of work you've personally shot or camera operated
  • A brief note telling us why you're interested in Team Bubbly

We're less interested in perfect resumes than we are in people who are curious, dependable, collaborative, adaptable, and excited to make great work.
