Responsibilities
- Monitor and control pipeline operations using distributed control systems to ensure safe and efficient flow of oil & gas products
- Operate heavy equipment such as pumps, valves, and maintenance vehicles to support pipeline functions and construction activities
- Perform routine inspections of pipelines, mechanical components, and associated equipment to identify potential issues early
- Conduct equipment repairs and troubleshooting on mechanical systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation devices
- Assist in construction projects by supporting heavy lifting tasks and ensuring proper installation of pipeline infrastructure
- Maintain accurate logs of operations, inspections, repairs, and safety checks for compliance purposes
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including heavy lifting procedures and emergency response procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience working on oil rigs or within oil & gas pipeline environments with hands-on mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems used in industrial automation
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in construction or operational settings
- Strong understanding of pipeline systems, including maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting techniques
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and data recording related to pipeline operations
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly and work in demanding outdoor environments
- Knowledge of safety standards related to oil & gas operations, construction practices, and equipment repair

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
