Pipeline Worker

Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader to excavate trenches, move materials, and prepare sites for pipeline installation.
• Perform concrete finishing tasks and assist with concrete forming when required to support pipeline supports or related structures.
• Conduct utility locating to identify existing underground utilities and prevent damage during excavation activities.
• Use pipe lasers and other precision tools to align pipelines accurately during installation processes.
• Support plumbing and pipeline installation efforts by assisting with trenching, pipe fitting, and connection tasks on-site.
• Operate forklifts and front loader trucks safely to transport materials around the construction site.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols throughout each phase of the project.

Experience

• Prior experience working on construction sites with pipelines or utility projects is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in heavy equipment operation including loader, backhoe, excavator, forklift, and front loader truck.
• Familiarity with concrete finishing techniques, welding procedures, and concrete forming is advantageous.
• Experience in utility locating using specialized tools such as pipe lasers or underground detection devices.
• Strong understanding of safety practices related to general construction environments.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
