PIPING DESIGNER

As a Designer, you will Support piping layout design activities for offshore and onshore oil & gas projects on an agency basis. Produces SP3D models and associated drawings under the direction of Senior Piping Designers and Engineers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain piping layouts and 3D models using SP3D (SmartPlant 3D)
• Produce piping arrangement drawings, spool drawings, and support layouts
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with structural, civil, and equipment disciplines
• Incorporate design changes and engineer markups promptly and accurately
• Generate isometrics and material take-offs from the 3D model
• Participate in model reviews and design coordination sessions
• Maintain drawing logs and support document control activities

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience in piping layout design for oil & gas EPC projects
• Mandatory proficiency in SP3D (SmartPlant 3D)
• Working knowledge of PDMS is an advantage
• Understanding of piping codes (ASME B31.3), P&IDs, and plot plan development
