Piping Draughtsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Piping Draftsman to join our engineering and construction team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing piping drawings, layouts, isometrics, and fabrication details for industrial construction projects while ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop piping layouts based on P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and engineering specifications.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers, project engineers, and site teams for drawing updates and technical clarifications.
• Prepare material take-offs (MTO) and support fabrication requirements.
• Modify and revise drawings as per project requirements and site conditions.
• Ensure all drawings comply with the standards and company procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.
• Coordinate with other disciplines such as structural, civil, and electrical teams to avoid clashes.
• Support project execution teams with technical drafting assistance.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 5–7 years of experience as a Piping Draftsman in industrial construction, oil & gas, fabrication, or EPC projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, or similar drafting software.
• Strong understanding of piping standards, symbols, and industrial drawings.
• Knowledge of P&IDs, isometric drawings, and piping fabrication processes.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in UAE/GCC projects is preferred.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
