Piping Supervisor – Projects (Oil & Gas EPC)

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly competent and innovative Piping Supervisor to support EPC execution of onshore/offshore projects. The role requires strong hands-on supervision skills, deep knowledge of piping construction standards, and the ability to proactively solve construction challenges in a high‑performance project environment.

This position is suited for professionals who demonstrate technical excellence, safety leadership, and continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise piping construction activities including fabrication, erection, installation, testing, and reinstatement in compliance with QatarEnergy standards
• Ensure works are executed per approved IFC drawings, ISOs, P&IDs, method statements, and schedules
• Lead and coordinate piping foremen, crews, and subcontractors to achieve daily and weekly targets
• Monitor welding activities ensuring compliance with approved WPS, weld maps, NDT requirements, and QA/QC procedures
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, QA/QC, and material control teams to resolve field issues efficiently
• Track progress and contribute to look‑ahead planning and productivity optimization
• Support hydro testing, flushing, drying, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning activities
• Promote innovative site practices to improve safety, constructability, and schedule performance

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years experience in piping supervision within Oil & Gas EPC projects
• Proven experience working on QatarEnergy or QP projects is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of ASME, ANSI, API, and QatarEnergy construction standards
• Hands‑on experience with process piping, pipe racks, skids, valves, and supports
• Ability to read and interpret ISOs, spool drawings, P&IDs, and construction layouts
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving capabilities

Added Value (Preferred)

• Experience in brownfield / live plant environments
• HSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)
• Exposure to digital reporting, productivity tracking, or innovative construction methods
