We are looking for an energetic and dependable Prepared Foods Clerk & Pizza Maker to join our team and help deliver fresh, delicious meals and outstanding service to our customers.

Position Overview

In this role, you will help prepare and package fresh foods, maintain attractive displays, and operate our pizza station while supporting the overall success of the Prepared Foods Department. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, takes pride in food quality and presentation, and provides friendly service to customers and fellow team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh kitchen and pizza products according to company recipes and standards
• Support the Kitchen Supervisor and team with daily kitchen operations
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked prepared foods displays and pizza stations
• Follow daily prep lists and complete assigned kitchen tasks efficiently
• Ensure all coolers, shelves, and displays are properly stocked, rotated, and maintained
• Package, label, mark, and weigh prepared food items as needed
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, cleaning, and maintenance procedures
• Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service
• Stay informed about new products, recipes, and department offerings
• Assist with additional department duties as needed to support store operations

Qualifications

• Previous food service, deli, kitchen, or pizza-making experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and quality
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude with strong customer service skills
• Reliable and dependable with good time management skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift products as needed
• Must be at least 18 years old to operate the pizza oven
