Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and stretch pizza and manakish dough according to recipes and standards
- Apply toppings such as cheese, vegetables, meats, and traditional spreads (e.g., zaatar, cheese, labneh)
- Operate pizza ovens (gas, wood-fired, or electric) safely and efficiently
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure product quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations
- Manage ingredient stock and notify supervisors when supplies are low
- Assist with dough preparation and daily mise en place
- Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as a pizza maker, manakish maker, or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of dough preparation and fermentation techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Good time management and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of food safety standards
- Team player with a positive attitude
