Place and Finish Concrete Finisher

Job Summary
Join our construction team as a Place and Finish Concrete Laborer. In this energetic role, you'll assist in the placement, finishing, and detailing of concrete surfaces on a variety of commercial projects. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will help ensure high-quality finishes that stand the test of time. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in concrete work while contributing to impactful construction projects. This job will require traveling and overnights sometimes for several days.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces.
• Perform concrete finishing tasks such as troweling, smoothing, and texturing to achieve desired surface quality.
• Handle heavy lifting and material movement safely across the construction site.
• Follow safety protocols diligently while working with heavy equipment.

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction tools and equipment operation.
• Construction estimating skills for understanding project scope and material needs.
• Experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, and finishing techniques.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and concrete pumps.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during concrete finishing tasks.
