Your Role:
At MilliporeSigma as the Planner 2, you will be responsible for various activities to support Planning/Buying activities for Raw Materials & Packaging. This position is responsible for supporting procurement of materials for onsite manufacturing of Solvents, Solutions and DNA reagent and reports to and supports the Production Planning & Purchasing Manager.

Maintain purchase order status, logistics and shipment tracking information

Generate monthly KPI’s

Create/update SOP’s and Work Instructions

Maintain strong working relationships and communications with support groups and key suppliers

Confirm, Monitor & expedite open purchase orders for to ensure on-time deliveries

Support Inventory management activities
-
Maintain and audit key SAP planning master data
-
Develop excellent understanding of complex processes from beginning to end and all steps in detail to perform trouble shooting and process improvements effectively.

Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment

Miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned to meet business needs
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED
-
6+ months industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management or related field or 4+ years experience in Supply Chain
-
Certification from APICS or IBF
- 2+ years of experience in moving material through the product delivery cycle, proficient with a PC and data analysis
-
2+ years of experience in Supply chain planning, scheduling and procurement
-
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Qlik, Palentir etc)

Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities while driving results for continuous improvement
-
High attention to detail and accuracy in written and electronic record keeping
-
Strong communication and organizational skills
-
Must be able to prioritize daily/weekly tasks based on criticality with minimal direction

Basic knowledge of material requirements planning & Scheduling techniques
Pay Range for this position - $60,900 to $105,500
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
