About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Planner to join the North Field Expansion (NFE) EPC-3 Project. The Planner will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating construction schedules for both Greenfield and Brownfield activities, ensuring alignment with project execution strategies, engineering deliverables, and construction work-fronts. This role requires strong expertise in project controls, progress measurement, and interface management within a complex LNG/EPC environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and update Level 3 and Level 4 construction schedules in Primavera P6.
- Prepare detailed work-front schedules covering equipment erection, piping, structural steel, and E&I activities.
- Integrate engineering deliverables, procurement status, and site progress into the master schedule.
- Monitor progress against baseline, identify deviations, and propose recovery actions.
- Conduct critical path analysis, what-if scenarios, and resource leveling.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports with Earned Value Analysis (EVA).
- Support Construction Managers with 90-day and long-term look-ahead schedules.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, HSSE, and commissioning for schedule inputs.
- Interface with subcontractors to ensure accurate progress reporting and forecast updates.
- Support planning for SIMOPS, shutdowns, and tie-ins in Brownfield areas.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project Management.
- 8–12 years of planning/scheduling experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects (LNG ).
- Strong expertise in Primavera P6 (mandatory) and MS Project.
- Solid understanding of construction sequencing for piping, equipment, structural steel, and E&I works.
- Experience in progress measurement, earned value management, and resource planning.
- Familiarity with Greenfield and Brownfield execution, SIMOPS, and PTW systems.
- Prior experience in Qatargas / QELNG mega projects.
- Certification in PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional), PMP, or AACEI.
- Advanced Knowledge in Navisworks, Power BI, Smart Plant 3D or similar tools for progress visualization.
- Advanced reporting skills (dashboards, KPIs, S-curves, manpower histograms).
- Strong analytical, communication, and interface management skills.
