Planner – Oil & Gas

Candidzone is a leading recruitment and HR solutions provider in Qatar, connecting top talent with reputable organizations across various industries. We are currently hiring an experienced Planner (Services) for a leading Oil & Gas client in Qatar.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in maintenance planning, shutdown coordination, procurement support, and refinery/petrochemical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage maintenance and shutdown schedules
• Plan manpower, materials, tools, and resources for service activities
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, procurement, and contractors
• Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Support procurement activities and contract coordination
• Generate planning reports, KPIs, and progress updates
• Optimize maintenance strategies to reduce downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards

Skills and Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree or Diploma
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry
• Experience in refinery / petrochemical maintenance
• Minimum 3 years in shutdown / maintenance planning
• Strong knowledge of procurement and contracts
• Hands-on experience in SAP (PM/MM)
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic Primavera P6
• Strong coordination and analytical skills
