Planning and Pricing Analyst

Legrand
has an exciting opportunity for a Pricing and S&OP Analyst to join the Electrical Wiring System (Wiremold) Team in West Hartford, CT. The Pricing & S&OP Analyst will support and execute price management, pricing strategy, S&OP cycle activities.

What Will You Do?
  • Approve or reject sales quotations based on the product pricing matrix. Support pricing objectives by providing information to the sales force, product marketing, and finance about analysis and trends.
  • Assist in building and updating S&OP forecasts based on customer, market, and internal data.
  • Work with internal and external sales, quoting, product performance information, and third-party data such as Vista. Will build out reports and dashboards as needed for management review.
  • Be part of the team that improves current processes used to gather and compile data and apply continuous improvement process to increase accuracy and simplify/automate processes where able.
  • Leverage data to draw actionable insights and inform the business planning process. It includes working with the demand and supply teams to create a forecast as well as conducting specific analysis into sales data, market trends, and customer activities.
Qualifications:
Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, supply chain, or statistical analysis
  • The ability to analyze data and draw actionable conclusions to advise internal teams
  • Needs to be able to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentation. Will need to give and receive complex and sensitive information, and process that information appropriately
  • Possess strong project management skills, including abilities to develop and manage to a project plan, establish priorities, work to deadlines and control a number of projects at various stages of work.
  • Exceptional Computer Skills. Proficiency in PowerBi. Excel, forecasting tools, and Minitab.
  • Must be highly collaborative and be able to work with numerous functions within the company. Legrand promotes an environment that encourages cohesiveness and fosters trust and open communication with team, peers and all other internal business partners.
  • Needs to work with a sense of urgency without constant supervision.

Preferred:
  • Relevant experience in pricing analysis, data operations, or analysis role
  • Professional Pricing or similar certification
  • Experience with advanced planning and scheduling tools
  • Electrical product or electrical industry knowledge is a plus.
