What Are My Responsibilities?

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (consortium partners, clients, consultants) to ensure alignment on timelines and project milestones.
  • Utilize project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) to create, update, and monitor schedules.
  • Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure project performance.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, dashboards, and status updates for stakeholders.
  • Analyze project data to identify trends, delays, and potential risks.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Maintain and manage a risk register, ensuring proactive risk monitoring and control.
  • Act as a key liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Facilitate regular coordination meetings to address progress, issues, and changes.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve planning and project control processes.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and project performance.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the project team.

What Do I Need to Qualify for This Job?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project planning and control within large-scale railway or infrastructure projects (signalling experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, cost control, and budget management.
  • Familiarity with railway systems, infrastructure, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar planning tools.
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project priorities.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are an advantage.
