We are looking for a skilled Planning & Billing Engineer to join our team and support project planning, cost management, and client billing activities. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience in project scheduling, and knowledge of construction billing processes.
- Prepare and verify Running Account (RA) bills, final bills, and subcontractor bills.
- Check and confirm quantities, measurements, and BOQ items as per drawings and site execution.
- Prepare and update work orders, cost estimates, and rate analysis.
- Maintain and reconcile material consumption, client billing, and subcontractor billing.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and clients for smooth billing processes.
- Review and certify subcontractor claims, variations, and extra items.
- Maintain all billing-related records and support documentation for audits.
- Prepare and submit monthly billing reports, MIS, and financial updates.
- Monitor project progress and align billing with project timelines.
- Ensure all billing complies with contractual terms and company policies.
- Plan and allocate resources such as manpower, materials, and equipment; coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
- 2–6 years of experience in planning & billing (construction industry).
- Strong knowledge of Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project / Primavera.
- Good understanding of quantity surveying and rate analysis.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
