Planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or Excel.
• Define work breakdown structures (WBS), project milestones, and critical paths.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and production teams for material and resource planning.
• Monitor and track daily/weekly progress against the baseline schedule and prepare reports.
• Identify delays, risks, and bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and present progress reports, S-curves, and dashboards to management and clients.
• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials (steel, aluminum, alloys, etc.) to meet project requirements.
• Assist in cost control, resource optimization, and adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, ASTM) and client specifications.
• Maintain documentation of schedules, revisions, approvals, and as-built records.
