To develop and manage facilities and equipment maintenance plans, work order schedules, digital planning platforms, as well as supporting the Facilities Maintenance team in day-to-day project controls and maintenance planning needs, and support in obtaining facilities license renewals and in scheduling audit observation close-out actions and progress monitoring of those actions.
Periodic Planning and Scheduling

Prepare and distribute the weekly maintenance plans and follow-up with coordinators and supervisors on close-out of work orders and ensuring the timely completion of all job plans.

Prepare dashboards for monitoring progress of maintenance and project work. Monitor planned vs actual progress and report to the facilities maintenance manager and assist in highlighting critical issues that requires attention.

Assist Planning Supervisor for both Equipment and Facility Sections required WO scheduling and Plans.
Digital Scheduling

To operate and control the Maximo workflows, MR status, work order close-out status, and efficiently coordinate with the rest of the team to ensure timely completions, avoiding duplicate WOs, and ensuring complete record of information for all job plans.
Document Controlling and System Verifications

To work closely with the Facilities Maintenance Manager and be involved with the facility team to verify work closures, proper Maximo WO filling and ensuring all necessary attachments are available.

Ensuring civil defence compliance and fulfilling of checklists prior to applying for license renewals.

Verifying HSE observation close-outs and highlighting critical issues that requires contractor’s intervention.

Ensure that all preventive maintenance documentation is completed correctly including the Maintenance Log, outlining the fault, method of repair and the time, labour and materials used to support timely availability of information.

Monitor and control the digital implementation of these programs on all facility maintenance and service requests and attend to service in order to minimize downtime.

Ensure effective management of resource forecasting, time estimation and backlog management and guide the daily maintenance schedule in order to achieve maintenance objectives and support uninterrupted operations to QTerminals.
Budgeting and Financial Planning

Assist the Planning Supervisor and Facility Maintenance Manager in collecting the required data for budget preparation and maintaining proper records.

Monitor expenditures on a regular basis and report to the FM manager by highlighting areas that requires attention, to keep control over the budget spendings.
For you to be successful in this role, you should have;

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, from a reputable university is mandatory. Preferably Mechanical Engineering.

8-10 years of Planning, Maintenance, Quantity Surveying, and site engineering experience in a similar industry, previous experience in ports is preferred.

Experience in Mechanical Engineering & HVAC Systems is a plus.

Experience in working on digital platforms such as Maximo, Oracle, MS Project, Primavera P6 etc…

Good technical knowledges on Planning platforms and software, such as Maximo, MS Project, etc.

Previous experience in planning and scheduling in both Projects and Facilities Maintenance Scope.

Excellent people and performance and contractor management skills.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, along with CMMS and EAMS.
