Description:
- Monitor construction progress regularly using scheduling software and actual feedback data.

Review and assess contractor’s baseline program, revised schedules, progress updates, and look-ahead schedules.

Identify variances between scheduled and actual progress; recommend corrective actions and mitigation strategies.

Require and review contractor’s revised programs when progress is not satisfactory or falls behind schedule.

Provide technical input and analysis on Extension of Time (EOT) claims, concurrent delays, and Time Impact Analysis (TIA).

Verify contractor’s recovery plans, acceleration proposals, and evaluate their effectiveness to meet project timelines.

Assist in identifying project obstacles or risks and propose solutions to prevent delays.

Review and ensure accuracy of contractor’s resource-loaded, cost-loaded, and man-hour schedules.

Coordinate with contractor QS to align progress certification with actual site progress.

Monitor contractor’s cash flow forecasts and activity-value schedules to assess financial planning and progress measurement.

Make weekly meeting and reporting to QS head /management

Support the development and agreement of Progress Measurement Systems (PMS) and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Attend and participate in progress review meetings with stakeholders (Employer, Consultants, Contractors, Authorities) and document minutes.

Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and executive summaries with program analysis and recommendations.

Maintain and update project control logs for critical issues, submittals, RFIs, variations, NCRs, and site instructions, linking to scheduling impact.

Provide planning input for commissioning requirements, inspections, and test schedules.

Ensure proper record-keeping of contemporary documents relevant to project delays and planning issues.

Issue notices for contractor delays, slow performance, and non-compliance with the program.

Conduct delay analysis using recognized methodologies (e.g., windows analysis, TIA) and demonstrate contractor responsibility for delays.

Prepare planning presentations, reports, and visuals for client and management meetings.

Collaborate with contractors and clients to resolve planning and scheduling conflicts efficiently.

Monthly progress reports shall be prepared based on the work carried out by the contractor and highlighting the problems, obstacles, shortages and recommendations.
Requirements:
Required Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
-
Professional Engineer License (PE)

4+ years’ experience

Solid command of core engineering principles with the ability to apply them to real-world, multidisciplinary projects.
