Planning Engineer

We are seeking a Planning Engineer to join our team with a minimum of 5 years experience. The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, ensuring alignment with project requirements and company standards. The role involves coordinating with project managers, site teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely execution, proper resource allocation, and effective cost and progress control.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using industry-standard software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Prepare baseline programs, recovery schedules, and look-ahead programs.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare resource histograms, cash flow forecasts, and manpower planning charts.
• Conduct delay analysis and support claims and extension of time (EOT) submissions.
• Generate regular progress reports (weekly/monthly) for management and clients.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure alignment of schedule with actual site activities.
• Review subcontractor and supplier schedules to ensure compliance with the main project program.
• Ensure that project milestones and deliverables are achieved within the allocated timeframe and budget.
• Support risk management by identifying schedule risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
