The Planning Engineer will be responsible for the full spectrum of project planning and scheduling activities for marine and floating pontoon projects. The role requires the preparation, monitoring, and updating of project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring full alignment with contractual requirements and project execution plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the project Baseline Schedule in Primavera P6, incorporating work breakdown structures (WBS), activity sequencing, logical relationships, resource allocation, and duration estimates.
  • Prepare cost-loaded and resource-loaded schedules, including cash flow projections, histograms, and man-hour distributions.
  • Generate Cash Flow forecasts and S-Curves for progress, productivity, and financial tracking.
  • Identify and maintain the project Critical Path, highlighting potential bottlenecks or constraints affecting the timeline.
  • Perform Delay Analysis (Prospective and Retrospective) when required, including Time Impact Analysis (TIA), cause-and-effect documentation, and EOT substantiation.
  • Track progress, update schedules periodically, and report deviations from the baseline.
  • Prepare and submit Weekly and Monthly Planning Reports, including progress summaries, lookahead schedules, productivity assessments, and variance analyses.
  • Coordinate closely with Construction, Engineering, Procurement, and Marine Operations teams to accurately reflect site progress and upcoming requirements.
  • Support management in decision-making by providing scenario planning, “what-if” analyses, and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with contract milestones, project KPIs, and reporting formats.
  • Maintain structured documentation of all planning-related data for contractual and audit purposes.

Job Type: Part-time

Experience:

  • Marine Construction and Offshore: 5 years (Required)
  • Marine and offshore : 5 years (Required)
