Planning Engineer

We Are Hiring – Planning Engineer

Location: UAQ Head Office

Industry: Construction

Experience: Minimum 5–8 Years

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer who can independently handle project planning, project controls, delay analysis, and coordination with internal and external teams. The ideal candidate must have strong project management and technical planning skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, manage, and coordinate project tasks, resources, and schedules

* Support project delivery in line with required time and quality standards

* Prepare EOT claims, delay analysis, and risk registers

* Develop baseline schedules, micro schedules, and tender schedules

* Maintain and manage change requests, progress reports, RFIs, and documentation

* Assist in project control procedures, QA/QC compliance, and workload programming

* Coordinate with consultants for reporting, risk management, and contractual matters

* Provide project management support across multiple projects

* Lead or support Planning Engineers, providing reporting and presentation support

* Manage procurement coordination with external consultants

Requirements:

* Engineering Degree or equivalent

* 5–8 years of experience in construction planning

* Strong skills in:

• Project Planning & Project Controls

• EOT Claims & Delay Analysis

• Risk Management & Problem-solving

• Excellent knowledge of design and construction processes

• Commercial and contractual understanding

• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines

Software Skills:

* Primavera P6

* MS Project

* Microsoft Excel

* Microsoft PowerPoint

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1.00 - AED10.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Umm al-Quwain City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
