Role Description:

CONIN is looking for an experienced Planning Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience to join our Dubai team. The successful candidate will be responsible for project scheduling, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using industry-standard tools
• Monitor project progress, identify delays, and propose corrective actions
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure alignment of activities
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports, dashboards, and project updates
• Analyze project risks and develop mitigation plans
• Support resource allocation and project planning decisions
• Review contractor schedules, progress claims, and recovery plans
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and client requirements
• Provide technical guidance and support for project planning processes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in project planning in construction
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent planning software
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, critical path method (CPM), and resource management
• In-depth understanding of UAE building codes, regulations, and authority submission processes
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and coordination skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of project controls, progress tracking, and reporting standards
