Planning Engineer

Job Title: Planning Engineer (Mechanical)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Experience Required: 2–5 Years

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Planning Engineer (Mechanical) to support and manage planning, scheduling, and quality-related activities for our MEP and utility infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all project works are executed in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project)
• Coordinate with QA/QC, site, and project teams to ensure timely execution of works
• Track project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Identify delays and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure alignment of project execution with quality standards and specifications
• Review project scope, drawings, and technical documents
• Support project team in resource planning and allocation
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors regarding project progress

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2 to 5 years of experience in MEP and utility infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling
• Familiarity with QA/QC standards and procedures
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred:

• Experience in UAE projects will be an advantage
• Knowledge of local authority regulations and standards

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• UAE: 2 years (Preferred)
