Planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and develop baseline project schedules for piling, shoring, earthworks, and enabling works using Primavera P6.
• Monitor daily site progress, including piling rig activities, concrete casting, reinforcement works, and related construction activities against the approved schedule.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports reflecting actual progress, delays, and planned targets.
• Identify potential delays and risks related to piling and enabling works activities.
• Develop recovery plans and assist in preparing Extension of Time (EOT) claims and reports.
• Coordinate with site engineers, rig operators, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth workflow and effective production planning.
• Plan and manage the allocation of manpower, materials, equipment, cranes, and piling rigs to achieve project milestones efficiently.Required

Qualifications & Skills :

• 2–10 years of experience in planning and scheduling, preferably in enabling works such as piling, shoring, dewatering, and soil improvement projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project planning methodologies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Familiarity with foundation systems including bored piles, driven piles, and sheet piles.
• Previous experience working in the UAE or Middle East construction market.
• Good knowledge of local authority regulations and project requirements, including Dubai Municipality standards.
