Planning Engineer

Position: Planning Engineer – Roads & Infrastructure
Experience Required: Minimum 5+ Years
Industry: Civil Construction / Roads & Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules for roads and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare baseline programs, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans.
• Track project progress and identify potential delays or risks.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, consultants, and subcontractors regarding project timelines.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and presentations.
• Analyze project performance against planned schedules and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in resource planning, manpower forecasting, and productivity monitoring.
• Review project scope, drawings, BOQs, and contract requirements for planning purposes.
• Maintain project planning documentation and records.
• Support claims preparation, extension of time (EOT), and project reporting activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Roads & Infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Ability to analyze project schedules, delays, and resource requirements.
• Good understanding of construction sequences for roads, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure works.
