Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, baseline, and maintain the project master schedule (Level 1 to Level 4) using Primavera P6.
- Prepare and issue Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports to management and the client.
- Monitor actual progress against planned progress and identify schedule deviations.
- Perform schedule risk analysis and develop mitigation/recovery plans.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to collect progress data and update schedules.
- Prepare and submit look-ahead schedules (2-week, 4-week, and 12-week).
- Support the preparation of contractual notices, EOT (Extension of Time) claims, and delay analysis.
- Develop resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules in collaboration with the project controls team.
- Participate in client and internal progress meetings, presenting schedule status and forecasts.
- Liaise with the procurement team to integrate procurement and delivery schedules.
- Prepare S-curves, histograms, and earned value management (EVM) reports.
- Maintain a document register of all planning and schedule submissions.
- Assist in the preparation of the project execution plan (PEP) and construction methodology.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 5–8 years of planning/scheduling experience in large-scale construction projects.
- Prior experience on airport, substructure, or mega infrastructure projects is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with Chinese contractors or in the GCC region is an advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Primavera P6 (mandatory).
- Knowledge of MS Project is a plus.
- Familiarity with NEC/FIDIC contract conditions.
- Understanding of substructure works (piling, foundations, earthworks, drainage).
- Experience with delay analysis techniques (TIA, Windows Analysis, Impacted As-Planned).
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and reporting skills (English required; Mandarin is a plus).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple interfaces.
- Team player with strong attention to detail.
