Job Description

Project Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop detailed baseline schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
  • Prepare project work breakdown structures (WBS), activity sequencing, logic relationships, and resource loading.
  • Develop construction schedules for civil, MEP, piping, infrastructure, and water/wastewater treatment projects.
  • Prepare procurement, engineering, and construction integrated schedules.

Project Controls

  • Monitor project progress against approved baseline schedules.
  • Update schedules based on site progress and actual execution data.
  • Analyze delays, critical paths, float consumption, and productivity trends.
  • Prepare recovery and mitigation plans for delayed activities.
  • Conduct earned value analysis and project performance evaluations when required.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, histograms, and KPI reports.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement teams, subcontractors, and clients regarding schedule status.
  • Participate in project review meetings and planning coordination meetings.
  • Support management with forecasting and completion target assessments.

Site & Execution Support

  • Conduct site visits to validate actual progress versus planned progress.
  • Coordinate with execution teams to identify constraints and corrective actions.
  • Monitor manpower, equipment, and productivity performance.
  • Ensure schedule alignment with project priorities, safety requirements, and client milestones.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain planning records, schedule revisions, and delay documentation.
  • Support claims preparation and extension of time (EOT) documentation when required.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual obligations, and project reporting standards.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 4–8 years of relevant experience in construction planning and project controls.
  • Proven hands-on experience in infrastructure, MEP, industrial, civil, or water/wastewater treatment projects.
  • Experience handling project schedules independently with minimal supervision.

Technical Skills

Mandatory

  • Strong proficiency in:

  • Experience in:

  • Experience in water features
  • Knowledge of Power BI or advanced Excel reporting.
  • Understanding of contracts and claims support.
