Planning Engineer - Civil

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Planning Engineer – Civil with strong experience in project scheduling and control for industrial and commercial construction projects. The candidate must be proficient in Primavera (P6) and capable of preparing, monitoring, and updating project schedules effectively.

Educational Qualification - BE/ME in civil

Work Experience - Minimum 5 years in Construction project planning

Good to have:

• Experience in industrial and commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of Primavera (P6)
• Expertise in preparing complete project schedules and project control systems
• Understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and resource planning
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and update detailed project schedules using Primavera (P6)
• Monitor project progress and prepare weekly and monthly reports
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors for schedule inputs
• Identify delays, risks, and propose corrective actions
• Prepare baseline programs, recovery schedules, and look-ahead plans
• Analyze resource loading, productivity, and cost impacts
• Support overall project control activities including tracking, forecasting, and reporting
• Ensure all planning activities comply with project requirements and timelines.
