Planning Engineer (Client Invoicing) is responsible for managing and coordinating project planning activities while ensuring accurate and timely preparation of client invoices in line with contractual requirements. The role involves developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress and verifying completed work against project milestones to support billing processes. The engineer collaborates closely with project managers, quantity surveyors and finance teams to ensure that all invoicing is aligned with approved progress, contract terms and supporting documentation. Additionally, the role includes monitoring project performance, identifying delays or variations and incorporating them into updated plans and billing reports. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills and effective communication are essential to ensure transparency, compliance and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
