Key Responsibilities for Planning Engineer (Interior Fit-Out & Turnkey Projects)

• Develop, update, and monitor detailed project schedules using advanced planning tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment of project timelines with objectives.
• Analyze project progress, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
• Prepare detailed project reports, including progress updates, forecasts, and resource allocation.
• Ensure all planning activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and project requirements.
• Support the project team in decision-making by providing accurate scheduling data and analysis.
• Monitor subcontractors’ planning and progress to align with overall project schedules.
• Participate in project planning meetings and support tender planning submissions when required.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, construction sequencing, and key deliverables.

Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5–10 years’ experience as a Planning Engineer in the UAE construction industry, preferably in interior fit-out and turnkey projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar planning software.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management principles, and resource allocation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Prior experience in UAE construction projects is highly desirable.
