We are seeking an experienced Fit-Out Planning Engineer to develop, monitor, and control project schedules for interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, progress tracking, resource planning, reporting, and coordination with project teams to ensure timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project schedules and work programs for interior fit-out projects.
- Prepare baseline schedules, manpower histograms, procurement schedules, and cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules on a regular basis.
- Analyze project delays, identify critical activities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Track procurement and material delivery schedules to ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Conduct critical path analysis and schedule risk assessments.
- Monitor productivity and resource utilization across projects.
- Support tender planning and preparation of preliminary project schedules during bidding stages.
- Maintain project documentation related to planning and scheduling.
- Assist in extension of time (EOT) claims and delay analysis when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of GCC experience in planning and scheduling of interior fit-out projects.
- Experience in commercial, hospitality, retail, F&B, residential, and corporate office fit-out projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and project controls.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in:
- Primavera P6
- Microsoft Project
- Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
- AutoCAD (preferred)
- Power BI (preferred)
- Knowledge of project control processes, resource planning, and earned value management.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and fit-out drawings.

- Knowledge of delay analysis and claims management is an advantage.
