Job Objective

To perform accurate quantity take-off, pricing, and project planning using Primavera P6, while managing authority submissions and final handover documentation up to the issuance of the Building Completion Certificate (BCC), ensuring that all project deliverables meet contractual, technical, and governmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for all project disciplines based on drawings and specifications.

2. Conduct on-site quantity verification and update progress quantities for monthly progress claims and cost control.

3. Analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations and prepare detailed comparison sheets for management review.

4. Coordinate with the Procurement Department to ensure timely approval and delivery of materials.

5. Develop and maintain the project schedule using Primavera P6, linking quantities, costs, and progress KPIs (SPI/CPI).

6. Manage authority submissions through the Abu Dhabi Municipality’s MEPS system, including:

  • Uploading and following up on drawings and technical submissions.
  • Coordinating with consultants for revisions and re-approvals.
  • Scheduling and attending inspection visits.
  • Completing all requirements for Building Completion Certificate (BCC) issuance.

7. Handle documentation and progress updates through the FAB (First Abu Dhabi Bank) Portal, ensuring alignment with financing and reporting requirements.

8. Prepare final handover documentation (Handover Dossier) for submission to authorities, developers, and consultants.

9. Coordinate with relevant authorities (Municipality, Civil Defense, ADDC, DoE, etc.) to obtain all required NOCs and approvals.

10. Maintain organized records of all submissions, approvals, and correspondences as per company and authority requirements.

11. Analyze project time and cost variances and propose corrective actions to management.

12. Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports summarizing quantities, schedules, and authority submission status.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management.
  • Experience: Minimum 5–8 years in contracting companies within the UAE, including at least 2 years in authority coordination and project handover.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and MS Excel (Advanced).
  • Strong working knowledge of Abu Dhabi Municipality’s MEPS System for drawing approvals, inspections, and completion certificates.
  • Familiarity with FAB Bank Portal and related project documentation processes.
  • Understanding of FIDIC Contracts, variation claims, and payment certificates.

Soft Skills:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with consultants, authorities, and developers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Professional report writing in English is an advantage.
