Planning Engineer SAUDI Only

1. Planning & Scheduling

• Develop detailed schedules for maintenance, shutdown, and project activities using Primavera P6.
• Prepare job plans, task lists, manpower loading, and resource allocation.
• Review work orders, BOMs, and job scopes to create accurate plans.
• Integrate mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and contractor schedules into a unified master plan.

2. Shutdown / Turnaround Planning

• Prepare complete shutdown execution plans including:
• Work breakdown structure (WBS)
• Activity sequencing
• Critical path identification
• Material & manpower forecasting
• Conduct pre‑shutdown readiness checks and progress tracking.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and contractors for smooth execution.

3. SAP Coordination

• Create, update, and close work orders in SAP PM.
• Review material availability, PR/PO status, and job confirmations.
• Ensure all planning data is accurately reflected in SAP.

4. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

• Track daily progress and update schedules accordingly.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports, KPIs, S‑curves, histograms, and dashboards.
• Highlight delays, constraints, and critical issues to management.
• Recommend corrective actions to maintain schedule compliance.

5. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with maintenance, operations, engineering, procurement, and contractors.
• Participate in daily coordination meetings and provide schedule updates.
• Ensure all planning documents comply with SABIC standards and procedures.

6. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain planning files, job packs, and shutdown documentation.
• Ensure compliance with SABIC safety, quality, and operational guidelines.
• Support audits and post‑shutdown performance reviews.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or related discipline.
• 3–7 years experience in planning within petrochemical, refinery, or SABIC environment.
• Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and SAP PM.
• Knowledge of maintenance workflows, job planning, and shutdown execution.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical documents.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in major shutdowns/turnarounds.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• Familiarity with SABIC safety and permit‑to‑work systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ﷼5,000.00 - ﷼8,000.00 per month
