Planning Engineer – Steel Structure

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Planning Engineer with strong experience in project scheduling, progress tracking, and coordination for steel / PEB / construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing project plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project
• Develop baseline programs, lookahead plans, and recovery plans
• Monitor and track project progress vs planned schedule
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
• Coordinate with site, production, and procurement teams for updates
• Identify delays, risks, and critical activities, and propose mitigation plans
• Monitor material delivery, fabrication, and site progress alignment
• Prepare S-curves, manpower histograms, and progress dashboards
• Support commercial team with progress-based billing (IPA / IPC inputs)
• Attend client and internal progress meetings
• Ensure proper documentation of project timelines and updates

Required Experience:

• Minimum 4–8 years experience as Planning Engineer
• Strong experience in construction / steel / PEB projects
• Hands-on experience in Primavera P6 / MS Project
• Experience in project scheduling, monitoring, and reporting
• Knowledge of fabrication + site execution coordination
• UAE/GCC experience preferred
